Google restricts recording to specific paid Workspace editions, and you must be a meeting host or co-host.
Upgrade your Workspace
Ensure you have a Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise, or Education Plus edition.
Get Admin Approval
Ask your Google Workspace administrator to enable recording for your account.
Join as Host
You must be the meeting organizer or be promoted to co-host to see the record button.
Wait for Processing
After the meeting, wait for the recording to be processed and saved to Google Drive.
